The McFarland High School stadium project is on schedule to be completed mid-August. The lights/poles have been installed and will be energized by PG&E 

approximately the end of April.  The bleachers (visitors and home) are being assembled now.  The shade structure will be installed this week.  The grass will be planted in April. 

    The McFarland Unified School District is also working with  the City  in a joint  venture “Kern Avenue Drop Off Zone” to provide a safe drop off zone for the students along 5th Street.  The project is expected to take 35 days to complete.
